![]() Even so my numbers would usually fall short in the gaming benches on my Intel machines. Eventually I used static clocks for comparison, eliminating that variable. I'd nearly always outperform the FX numbers found in reviews using my mine, but I'd usually be lower than most of the Intel numbers - early on it was due to most reviewers running "multicore enhancement" on the Intel machine vs my "normal " turbo clocks. I tested i 7's with h/t disabled when I would make comparisons ( 2600k, 3770k and 4790k) RA Tech used a different method. He obviously wasn't trying to hide anything because he had included a screenshot of CPU-Z in the video that showed it running at a really odd value. Aussie Steve was much better about it, he realized his FX machine had an issue in the benchmarks after I pointed out it had the incorrect HTT link speed. ![]() Burke had an FX 9590 scoring lower than a lower clocked Vishera on the same gaming benchmark, obviously not good data - he was pretty dismissive about the subject and got pretty defensive. Both had made mistakes in their videos and testing and I brought it to their attention. Always thought the same thing and I actually brought the subject up with Tech Jesus and Aussie Steve.
